ASSISTED LIVING PROVIDER TRAINING

Professional Health Education is committed to provide the highest quality training possible to Maryland licensed Assisted Living facilities and individuals pursuing licensure. The training covers subjects mandated by COMAR (10.07.14.17). We also provide training for delegating nurses and medicine technicians.

Professional Health Education is listed on the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Office of Health Care Quality Assisted Living Unit website approved trainer’s list.

We conducts training for the Assisted Living caregiver and are approved to teach:

Health & Psychosocial Needs

Resident Rights

Professional Health Education also provides training for the Assisted Living caregiver in Fire Safety and Fire Extinguisher Selection, as well as Dementia/Alzheimer’s update.

Professional Health Education also conducts classes for:

Certified Medication Technician

Basic IV Therapy

Basic Phlebotomy

Basic Nursing Assistant skills: measuring blood pressure, pulse, respirations and temperature, etc
